This is the original Roady XT that has the more powerful FM modulator than the newer Roady XT. This is one of the few receivers that actually works quite well without a hardwire. In locations that have a high density of FM stations, a hardwire solution is still recommended. This can be accomplished using the included cassette adapter, an FM Direct Adaptor (see related items), or an Auxiliary Input Adapter.
The Roady XT is a very versatile, compact XM Radio tuner. You can direct tune the receiver or select from up to 30 presets. The unit is very lightweight and durable and has many accessory options such as home kits, car kits, boomboxes, and portable kits that let you use the Roady XT as a battery powered portable.
